Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy explains how Webaurix ("we", "us"), which operates Exofe from Pakistan, collects, uses and shares information about you when you use Exofe, our AI assistant, on exofe.com, in the Exofe Code app and extension, and in our other services (together, the "Services"). Please read it together with our Terms of Use.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information. Your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares (name, email, picture). If you create a Study Group or hire a team, the names and email addresses you add.
- Content. What you type, say or upload: messages and conversations, files and photos you attach, voice you record to be turned into text, the pictures you ask Exofe to make, documents and web pages Exofe makes for you (Artifacts), your Exofe Code projects, and the things you ask Exofe to remember (Memory). We call all of this "Content".
- Payment information. Plans are paid through our payment partners. We receive the plan, amount, date and a payment reference. We do not receive or store your full card, bank or wallet details, and Exofe will never ask you for them in chat.
- Messages to us. Emails and forms you send to support, and the details in them.
Information we get when you use the Services
- Usage and device information. The pages and features you use, the model you pick, how much of your plan's usage you have used, the time, your approximate location from your IP address (used for the right currency and to prevent abuse), your browser and device type, and technical logs and error reports.
- Cookies and similar storage. We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in (for 30 days), a cookie that counts a signed-out visitor's daily messages, and small preferences stored in your browser (for example whether the side menu is open). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Information from apps you connect
If you connect an app such as your email or calendar (Connectors), or let Exofe's agent work with your inbox or browser, Exofe accesses that app only to do what you ask. The sign-in tokens for connected apps are stored encrypted. You can disconnect an app at any time.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- provide, operate, maintain and secure the Services, including answering your questions, running Exofe Code, the agent and Study Groups, and remembering what you asked it to remember;
- process payments, apply your plan's usage limits and send receipts and account messages;
- give you support and respond to your requests;
- detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms;
- understand how the Services are used and fix problems, and develop and improve the Services;
- show Sponsored cards to people on the Free plan, as explained in section 3a, and count the views and clicks so advertisers can be charged;
- comply with the law and protect our rights and the rights of others.
3. Using your Content to improve Exofe
By default we do not use what you write to train our own models. If you choose Settings › Data controls › Help improve Exofe, then the text you write in Exofe chat (with personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers, ID card, bank and card numbers masked first) may be used to train and evaluate Exofe's own models. We do not use files, pictures, Exofe Code projects or agent activity for this. You can turn this off at any time, and turning it off deletes what was kept from you.
Separately, the thumbs-up and thumbs-down you give a reply are used to adjust how Exofe answers you. We do not sell your personal information.
3a. Advertising on the Free plan
People on the Free plan in Pakistan may see one small card marked Sponsored under an answer. Paid plans never see them. This is how it works:
- The card is chosen from the topic of the last question you asked and its answer (for example travel or study), read by our systems when the answer is shown. We do not build an advertising profile of you, and we do not track you on other websites or apps.
- No card is shown when the conversation is about a sensitive subject such as health, religion, politics, legal or money trouble, or children.
- Advertisers do not see your chats or who you are. They see totals (how many people saw or clicked an ad). If you click, the advertiser's website learns that you came from Exofe, and its own privacy policy applies from then on.
- The card never changes what Exofe answers. You can choose "Why this ad?", hide ads from a business, or report a card, from the card's menu. Hiding a business is remembered for your account.
4. How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run Exofe, under terms that limit how they use your information. This includes AI model providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI), which process your Content to produce replies, pictures and transcripts; cloud hosting and network providers (such as Cloudflare and Render); our database provider (Supabase); and our email provider (Resend). Payment partners process payments.
- Other people in your Study Group or team. What you post in a Study Group room, its notes and your name are visible to the members of that group, and the group's owner can see its members and their shared usage.
- Third-party apps you connect. When you connect an app, we send it the requests needed to do what you asked.
- Legal and safety. If we believe disclosure is required by law, a court order or a lawful request, or is needed to protect people, the Services or our rights.
- Business changes. If Webaurix is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred, and we will tell you before it becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
5. Where your information is processed
Exofe is operated from Pakistan, and our systems and providers run in several countries, including Singapore, India and the United States. Information may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. We take reasonable steps, including contracts with our providers, to protect it.
6. How long we keep information
- Signed-out chats are not saved. A visitor's conversation lives only in their browser tab.
- Chats and files are kept until you delete them. Deleting a chat (or all chats, in Settings › Data controls) removes it and the files sent in it from your account. Your Memories, Exofe Code projects and pictures are kept until you delete them.
- Account and billing records are kept while your account is open and afterwards as long as the law or our legitimate business needs (such as handling disputes) require.
- Logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
Deleted content may remain in backups for a short period before it is removed.
7. Your choices and rights
- In Settings › Data controls you can turn Help improve Exofe on or off, delete all your chats, and delete all your memories. Memory can be turned off in Settings › Personalization.
- You can disconnect connected apps, remove people from a Study Group, and leave a group.
- You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information, or to close your account, by writing to support@exofe.com. We will answer within a reasonable time, and may need to confirm that the request really comes from you.
- You can object to or ask us to limit certain uses of your information, and, where the law gives you the right, complain to your data-protection authority.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption of connected-app tokens at rest, access controls and monitoring. No online service is completely secure, so please also protect your account and do not share your password or sign-in codes.
9. Children
Exofe is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are under 18, use Exofe only with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us information, write to support@exofe.com and we will delete it.
10. Links and third-party services
Answers from Exofe may link to other websites, and you may connect third-party apps. We do not control those services and their privacy practices are their own.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Exofe changes. When the changes are significant we will tell you, for example by email or a notice in the app, before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
